19th March 2022
Mote Hall, Maidstone
Maidstone Wind Symphony will be returning for a day of well-being through music, working alongside The Music Man Project, on the 19th of March at Mote Hall.
This concert takes a slightly new shape, with workshops being held on the day that connect well-being with meditation, breathing & mindfulness as well as working with The Music Man Project.
Our mediation, breathing & mindfulness workshop will be held by Clare Cockell. Clare is an experienced meditation teacher and is passionate about mindfulness and well-being, regularly holding workshops and retreats from the beautiful grounds of Barham Court in Barming. We are so excited to have Clare hold a workshop with us at Mote Hall.
The Music Man Project is an incredible music education service for children and adults with learning disabilities. They have performed in the Royal Albert Hall, the London Palladium and the work they carry out is an incredible testament to the power of music.
The Music Man Project: 45 minutes each, 2pm, or 3pm at Mote Hall.
Meditation, Breathing & Mindset with Claire Cockell, for one hour at 1pm.
The pieces chosen for this concert will encourage you to reflect, calm the mind and tap into the finite emotions we all experience. In light of the pandemic this concert feels a very fitting reflection on the times spent alone, times shared and the experiences of the last two years.
As we try to play our part in protecting the environment, programmes will be emailed to all ticket holders. There will also be a QR code available at the venue for you to download the programme to your chosen device.
We are so excited for this incredible day! Come visit us on the 19th of March, 7.30pm, at Mote Hall. Tickets can be booked online or on the door for the concert.
